Dr. Joel Datloff

Dr. Datloff is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He specializes in general medical, pediatric and surgical dermatology.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas, Dr. Datloff finished his dermatology training at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. In 1987, he joined Dermatology Associates of SW Washington, where he has dedicated his entire professional career.

Dr. Datloff is married with two children and enjoys bridge, golf, and snowboarding.

Dr. Elizabeth Dawson

Dr. Dawson is currently on an extended medical leave, and not seeing patients at this time. Dr. Dawson is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Her primary focus is general medical and surgical dermatology, including diagnosing and treating skin cancer. She is licensed in Washington and Oregon.

Dr. Dawson graduated from Yale University and completed a Master of Science degree at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She then attended Cornell University Medical College and completed her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. In 2005, Dr. Dawson relocated to Portland for her dermatology training at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Dawson joined the Dermatology Associates of SW Washington team in 2009.

Laura Brandt, PA-C

Laura Brandt received her Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, graduating magna cum laude. She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Medical Center School of Allied Health. Laura is licensed by the state of Washington and she is board certified. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physicians Assistants. Laura is experienced in general and surgical dermatology for adults and children, and has been practicing as a dermatology PA since 1998.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. She also enjoys reading, hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Mary Burnell, MPAS, PA-C

As a seasoned dermatology Physician Assistant (PA), Mary has practiced dermatology since 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Portland State University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program, with an elective clinical clerkship in dermatology.

Throughout her career, Mary has collaborated with board-certified dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, and cosmetic specialists, refining her skills in surgical, cosmetic, and clinical dermatology. She also performs cosmetic procedures in-office, including Botox injections and full facial balancing with Juvéderm fillers, providing comprehensive care to her patients.

Beyond her clinical duties, Mary enjoys gardening, traveling, and exploring new recipes. Committed to ongoing learning, she attends Continuing Medical Education meetings and actively participates in dermatology medical societies, staying updated on the latest advancements in medical and cosmetic treatments
